The data that we collect might be your e-mail address, name, billing address, home address etc – mainly information that is necessary for delivering you a product/service or to enhance your customer experience with us. We save the information you provide us with in order for you to comment or perform other activities on the website. This information includes, for example, your name and e-mail address.

Information automatically collected about you

Those data includes information that is automatically stored by cookies and other session tools. For example, your shopping cart information, your IP address, your shopping history (if there is any) etc. This information is used to improve your customer experience. When you use our services or look at the contents of our website, your activities may be logged.

We only work with Processing partners who are able to ensure adequate level of protection to your Personal Data. We disclose your Personal Data to third parties or public officials when we are legally obliged to do so. We might disclose your Personal Data to third parties if you have consented to it or if there are other legal grounds for it.

Children

We do not intend to collect or knowingly collect information from children. We do not target children with our services.

Comments

When visitors or customers leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Our website uses features provided by the Vimeo video portal. This service is provided by Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

Our website uses contact form so the customers can get in touch with us. This form uses a plugin (https://contactform7.com/privacy-policy/). We use the personal data is captured when someone submits a contact form for a certain period for customer service purposes, but you do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

How we protect your data

We do our best to keep your Personal Data safe.  We use safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.

Even though we try our best we can not guarantee the security of information. However, we promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.

Supported Products

All our currently supported modules come with a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering only the electronic components. The warranty does not extend to damages on the front panel, casing, knobs, electromechanical parts like potentiometers, connectors, and minijack sockets. These damages can be repaired by Hexdevices upon request for an additional cost.

Unsupported Products

Discontinued and DIY products are not covered by the warranty. However, our service and repair department will be glad to assist you. Please note that in this case, the customer is responsible for both the repair and shipping costs to and from the Hexdevices Service Department.

Shipping Damages

Any product damaged during shipping is covered, provided that you report the damage within 4 days of receiving the shipment. The shipping costs for such damaged devices are covered by Hexdevices.

Manuals

We frequently update our user and assembly manuals to enhance your understanding. Differences may exist between the version of the manual you possess and the current versions available for free download on our website. To avoid misunderstandings, please keep yourself updated when necessary.

Please Note!

The images on the website may vary slightly from the actual modules. We continually strive to improve the quality of our products, resulting in minor differences between old and new module versions.

Compliance

Since 2022, all our module PCBs feature a Lead-Free HASL surface finish. The solder and components we use are RoHS compliant. However, in some cases, not all of our components may be 100% RoHS compliant. Some of our products are also CE and FCC approved. To recycle your device, please follow your country’s recycling guidelines for electronic devices.

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you. Our products can be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. You can either exchange a new product for the one you purchased or request a refund. Before returning a product, please ensure the following:

  • The product was purchased within the last 30 days.
  • The product is unused and undamaged.

Please contact us through the contact form before sending the product.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges associated with returning a product are non-refundable. You are responsible for covering the shipping costs and assume the risk of loss or damage to the product during shipping, both when sending it to Hexdevices and when receiving a replacement.
